Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
Arrive in Kathmandu, where you’ll be greeted by our team and transported to your hotel. Settle in and rest, or explore the vibrant streets of Thamel.
Day 2: Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing
Discover Kathmandu’s cultural gems, including the historic Durbar Square, Swayambhunath (the Monkey Temple), and Pashupatinath Temple, gaining insight into Nepal’s unique architecture and spirituality.
Day 3: Fly to Lukla & Trek to Puiyan (2800m)
Take a thrilling flight to Lukla, then start your trek. Traverse terraced hills, pass Sherpa villages, and descend through lush forests to Puiyan.
Day 4: Puiyan to Pangkongma (2850m)
Continue through scenic landscapes, with glimpses of mountain vistas and verdant valleys. Pass local settlements, gaining insight into traditional village life.
Day 5: Pangkongma to Nigmsa (2745m)
Today’s route features forests filled with bamboo and rhododendron. Descend to the quiet village of Nigmsa, surrounded by thick wilderness.
Day 6: Nigmsa to Chhatra Khola (3150m)
Journey through narrow trails winding through dense forest, possibly spotting Himalayan wildlife like red pandas and musk deer.
Day 7: Chhatra Khola to Kothe (3600m)
The path ascends beside the Hinku River, gradually leading into the alpine region. You’ll feel the shift to a more rugged environment as you approach Kothe.
Day 8: Kothe to Tangnang (4350m)
Cross through beautiful alpine meadows and catch the first clear view of Mera Peak. The day’s trek provides scenic views as the landscape opens up.
Day 9: Rest in Tangnang
Acclimatization day in Tangnang. Explore the village, surrounded by glaciers, and prepare for the upcoming altitude gain.
Day 10: Tangnang to Khare (5045m)
Ascend along rugged trails with stunning views of towering peaks and glacial valleys. Khare offers expansive panoramas and is a key point for acclimatization.
Day 11: Khare to Mera Base Camp (5300m)
Continue the ascent towards Mera Peak. Base Camp provides magnificent views and a great vantage point to witness the surrounding Himalayas.
Day 12: Base Camp to High Camp
Move up to High Camp, traversing rocky trails. Settle in and prepare for the summit push, with a breathtaking sunset view of Himalayan giants.
Day 13: Summit Mera Peak & Trek to Kongma Dingma (4850m)
Embark on the early morning summit of Mera Peak, reaching 6461m, with panoramic views of Everest, Makalu, and Kanchenjunga. Descend to Kongma Dingma to rest.
Day 14: Kongma Dingma to Seto Pokhari
Trek along the remote Hunku Valley, passing scenic Seto Pokhari (White Lake), a beautiful high-altitude glacial lake surrounded by stark landscapes.
Day 15: Seto Pokhari to Amphu Lapcha South Base Camp (5650m)
Approach the challenging Amphu Lapcha Pass. The terrain grows steeper and more rugged as you reach the South Base Camp.
Day 16: Cross Amphu Lapcha Pass to North Base Camp (5300m)
A thrilling day as you cross the Amphu Lapcha Pass, requiring the use of ropes for descent. Enjoy unparalleled views before descending to the North Base Camp.
Day 17: Trek to Pangboche (3930m)
Descend into the Imja Valley, reaching the Sherpa village of Pangboche, known for its ancient monastery and welcoming culture.
Day 18: Pangboche to Namche Bazaar (3440m)
Trek through rhododendron forests and cross suspension bridges, eventually arriving at Namche Bazaar, the vibrant heart of the Khumbu region.
Day 19: Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2840m)
Your final trekking day takes you down from Namche Bazaar, passing through forests and villages as you make your way back to Lukla.
Day 20: Flight to Kathmandu
Return to Kathmandu with a short scenic flight from Lukla. Enjoy a relaxing evening back in the city.
Day 21: Rest Day in Kathmandu
A day to rest and explore Kathmandu’s marketplaces or visit additional sites before departure.
