Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel. After some rest, you can explore Thamel, a popular tourist hub, and enjoy a traditional Nepali dinner with a cultural performance.
Our Kathmandu sightseeing will begin with a visit to Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple) for a panoramic view of the Kathmandu Valley, followed by a tour of Kathmandu Durbar Square and nearby temples. In the afternoon, you will visit Pashupatinath Temple, a sacred Hindu temple by the Bagmati River, and the famous Boudhanath Stupa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The evening is free for shopping or relaxation.
You will depart for Bandipur, a charming hilltop town known for its preserved cultural heritage and mountain views, a 3-4 hour drive from Kathmandu. After checking into your hotel and having lunch, you can take a leisurely walk through the town, visit the Bindebasini Temple, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.
You will drive to Pokhara (about 2-3 hours by road) and check in to your hotel. In the afternoon, you will visit Phewa Lake for a boat ride, followed by a trip to the World Peace Pagoda for panoramic views. In the evening, you can enjoy a relaxing stroll along Lakeside and dine at a lakeside restaurant.
Day 5 will begin early with a visit to Sarangkot for a breathtaking sunrise view over the Annapurna Range. Afterward, you will visit Bindhyabasini Temple and Devi’s fall (Patale Chhango). In the afternoon, you’ll explore Gupteshwor Cave and the Seti River Gorge, before spending the evening by the lake or enjoying dinner at a lakeside restaurant.
You will drive to Chitwan National Park (approximately 5-6 hours). After checking in to your jungle lodge and having lunch, the evening will be filled with a Tharu cultural performance showcasing traditional dance and customs.
Day 7 is dedicated to exploring Chitwan National Park. You will go on a jeep safari or elephant ride through the park, where you can spot wildlife such as rhinos, tigers, and various bird species. In the afternoon, enjoy a canoe ride on the Rapti River, with opportunities for bird watching, followed by a visit to the Elephant Breeding Center to learn about elephant conservation.
You will drive to Nagarkot (5-6 hours by road), check in to your hotel, and relax in the fresh mountain air. The evening will offer stunning views of the sunset over the Himalayas.
On the final day, Day 9, you will rise early to catch the sunrise over the Himalayan peaks, if weather permits. After breakfast, you will drive back to Kathmandu (approximately 1.5-2 hours) and, depending on your flight time, either relax at your hotel or explore Thamel for some last-minute shopping before being transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport for your departure.
