Manaslu, the fourth highest peak in Nepal at 8463m provides the spectacular centre piece for this circular trek. The Larke La pass is the highest crossing on the Manaslu trek. This is a classic trek that follows a tough ancient salt trading route that literally links the Buri Gandanti with Marsyandri valley the Manaslu region to Annapuran region. It was first crossed by members of Bill Tilman’s early expeditions that ventured into the heartland to explore an approach and possible route to the summit of Annapurna. The views from the Larkya La are simply outstanding by any account with Chuli, Himlung, Cheo Himal, Larke Peak, Annapurna II and Manaslu. The surrounding beautiful alpine valleys at Brimtang and Jagat and of the Annapurna Circuit make this an extremely eco diverse trek.
