Trip Overview

The Manaslu Circuit trek offers an unforgettable adventure, circling around Manaslu, the fourth highest peak in Nepal, standing at 8,163 meters. This classic route follows an ancient salt trading path connecting the Buri Gandaki and Marsyangdi valleys, linking the Manaslu and Annapurna regions. Historically, the trek was first explored by Bill Tilman’s expeditions, who sought a potential route to the summit of Annapurna.

At the heart of the Manaslu Circuit lies the Larkya La Pass, the highest crossing on the trek, offering breathtaking views of towering peaks such as Chuli, Himlung, Cheo Himal, Larke Peak, Annapurna II, and Manaslu itself. The views from the pass are nothing short of spectacular, making this trek a must for avid mountain enthusiasts.

As you traverse the route, you’ll experience the rugged beauty of alpine valleys, including Brimtang and Jagat, with diverse ecosystems that make the trek incredibly eco-rich. The stunning landscapes of the Annapurna Circuit add to the trek’s allure, offering an unparalleled journey through Nepal’s natural and cultural treasures. For those seeking a challenging yet rewarding trek, the Manaslu Circuit promises a truly unforgettable experience.
